Bernal Leads Cumberland to 4-1 Win

Conditions were not ideal but Cumberland and Napoleon were able to put their game in the books.
Cumberland picked up a win at John Lee Pettimore Field, toppling the Napoleon Dynamites, 4-1. Pitcher Héctor Bernal was one of the reasons the Copperheads triumphed. Cumberland has now won 4 in a row.
Bernal scattered 4 hits over 8 innings for the Copperheads. With the win, Bernal moves to 7-7 on the year with 141 strikeouts.
"Everyone's kind of edgy right now," said losing manager Josh Beckett, "but nothing a couple of wins wouldn't cure."
