The Austin BigStars dealt the Vancouver Lynx a 6-1 loss at Googleplex. Javier Rodríguez was the star on offense. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Dusty Bowden, the winner, improved to 7-3. He held Vancouver to 1 run on 4 hits over 5.1 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Rodríguez hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the BigStars into the lead, 3-1.
