Yelich Hits 2 home runs in Cyclones Win
The Death Valley Buzzards and Oklahoma City Cyclones provided some drama for the home crowd.

Oklahoma City right fielder Christian Yelich picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Death Valley Buzzards, 4-3. Picking up the win was Gerald Bryson. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 2 hits. The right--hander struck out 3 and walked 3. Amedeo Scotti got the save, his 21st in 26 chances.

With Oklahoma City leading 2-1 in the top of the fourth, Yelich hit a changeup from Ramón Ríos for a 2-run home run. It was his 22nd home run of the season and put the Cyclones ahead, 4-1.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Death Valley skipper Brennan Baker, "and it cost us."

The losing streak for Death Valley has now reached 5 games.
