Despite a great performance by McCleary first baseman Millard Rood, the Kansas City Scouts defeated the Sasquatch by the score of 7-6 at The Castle of Kansas City. Rood went 1 for 2 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Jacob deGrom, credited with the save, is now 13 for 19 in save opportunities.
