The Baltimore Orioles defeated the New York Yankees, 10-3, at Yankee Stadium. Baltimore second baseman Todd Walker had a superb performance. He went 4 for 4 with 3 doubles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Baltimore reliever Dan Miceli picked up the win, raising his record to 3-2. Al Leiter was tagged with the loss. Baltimore occupies 14th place in the Virtual Baseball League at 63-60.

With Baltimore leading 2-1 in the top of the fourth, Walker hit a slider from Al Leiter for a run-scoring double. It was his 19th double of the season and put the Orioles ahead, 3-1.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Baltimore manager Henry Rodriguez.
