Omaha beat Cumberland on the strength of starter Ron Ingram's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-0. The victory gives Omaha a record of 52-50.

Yun-ho Son took Steve Lowry deep in the bottom of the first. His 2-run home run put the Bandits on top, 2-0. In all, Son had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
