The Toronto Blue Jays picked up a win at SkyDome, knocking off the Atlanta Braves, 5-4. Starting pitcher Barry Zito played a key role in the triumph. The win went to Jay Witasick in relief. His record improves to 2-4. Keith Foulke took the loss. Toronto now has a record of 52-38 with the win.

Edgar Renteria was the walk-off hero for Toronto. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blue Jays third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Renteria.
