Buzzards Lose By a Run at Oklahoma City, 3-2
Oklahoma City and Death Valley duked it out and the Cyclones came out victorious.

Iván Soto pitched well, but his team, the Death Valley Buzzards, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the Oklahoma City Cyclones at Cyclone Alley. The winner in relief was Augusto Banda. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. He now owns a record of 2-1. Amedeo Scotti was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 13 of 17 save opportunities.

Austin Riley, who finished 3rd in the AL in RBI with 124 last year, came through for Oklahoma City with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. The first baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 1 RBI.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Riley said after the game.

The Cyclones sport a record of 30-46.
