Athletics Absorb 3-1 Loss at SkyDome
|
Toronto Blue Jays starter Roy Halladay turned in an exceptional performance against the Oakland Athletics at SkyDome, resulting in a Toronto win, 3-1. Halladay yielded 1 run over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 7. His record improves to 10-1. Toronto is now 49-34, while Oakland is 48-35.
Bubba Trammell came through for Toronto with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. The right fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 RBI.
