Cyclones Sneak By Enforcers, 7-6
The Oklahoma City Cyclones topped the South Side Enforcers, 7-6, with right fielder Christian Yelich playing a big role. Yelich was 2-3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Cyclones in the win. Oklahoma City pitcher Augusto Banda got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Jerry Lefebvre got the loss. The save went to Amedeo Scotti, number 11 for him.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Álex Santos came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing South Side pitcher Jerry Lefebvre, he hit a first pitch sinker for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Oklahoma City on top, 7-6.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Yelich, "one at-bat at a time."

The victory puts Oklahoma City at 26-40.
