Tropics Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, September 9th , 2027 When it comes to a late-season playoff disappointment, the old axiom "wait until next year" isn't overly comforting. "We really thought we would get into the playoffs this year," said Tiefengrund Tropics shortstop Robinson Muñóz. "It's really disappointing to come up short." Tiefengrund last appeared in the postseason in 2025. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 12 times in their 18 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Tropics have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
