Doyle Goes Long 3 Times Sunday, August 29th , 2027 The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Jordan Doyle did today at Sportman's Park, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 16-4. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Doyle said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Moss Beach Mosquitos right fielder blistered the Eureka Guardians for 3 hits, batted in 4 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Eureka manager Orlando Merced said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Jordan Doyle walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Aidan Lindop in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Aidan Lindop in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Felipe Silva in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and walked in a run in the 9th. To date Doyle has chalked up a .358 average with 12 home runs, driven in 59 runs and scored 56 times. |
