Rhodes Hurls No-Hitter Saturday, June 12th , 2032 Is it better to be lucky or good? After leading the Archbishop McCarthy Aggies to victory, 1-0, and tossing a no-hitter over the Har-Ber Wildcats, Vincent Rhodes didn't have the answer. "I don't know," Rhodes said. "To do what I did today, I'm pretty sure it takes both." On his big day at Red Flash Ballpark, Rhodes fanned 8 and had 2 walks. And it seemed that when the Wildcats managed to hit the ball hard, it went right at a defender. "That's how you get a no-hitter," Rhodes said with a smile. "A lot of skill mixed with a little luck." Checking out his stats for the season, Rhodes has registered 4 wins and 3 losses in 10 starts, posted a 2.50 ERA, and struck out 52 batters in 57.2 innings. View Boxscore |
