Hit Streak Now at 20 for Willis Tuesday, July 27th , 2027 The number just keeps getting higher. Stratford Northwestern left fielder Bob Willis has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 2 at-bats as the Stratford Northwestern took the 11-8 win over the Indian Trail Hawks at Hawks Stadiums. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Indian Trail manager Jim Wilson said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Bob Willis singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. This season Willis is hitting .352 with 8 home runs. |
