Blessed Trinity's Jackson Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Thursday, June 3rd , 2027 It was a good day for the Black Bears at Ballpark of Stockton HS as they clipped the Etiwanda Eclipse, 19-9. It was tremendous day for Alfred Jackson, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 5-for-7. "I don't know what to call that," the Blessed Trinity shortstop told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well." Alfred Jackson flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, flied out in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. Jackson is hitting .351 this year with 2 home runs and 23 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .409, 18 walks and scored 34 times. View Boxscore |
