After today, Juan Bernard can celebrate. The Arizona State Sun Devils first baseman powered three into the stands at Taylor Stadium today against the Missouri Tigers. "It's rare that you actually try to hit a home run," Bernard told reporters after the game. "Most of the time you fail, if you really try to hit one. But today, I was really trying on that last one." In all, he was 3-for-5 as the Sun Devils toppled Missouri by a score of 10-7, knocking in 7 runs and scoring 3 times. "He is blessed with a natural home run swing," Arizona State manager Roberto Petagine said. "He gets the ball up in the air." Juan Bernard hit a solo-shot off Edgar Morales in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Edgar Morales in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Edgar Morales in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and struck out in the 9th.
