Lane Crowned Top WC Hitter in July Sunday, August 1st , 2032 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 19 Keith Lane has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Long Beach State 49ers star can enjoy the numbers he put up in July, which have garnered him the nod as the Western Conference Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .429 average with 18 home runs, 37 RBIs and 40 runs scored. To date this season Lane is hitting .379 with 46 home runs. |
