Season Over for Ramón Santiago in Arkansas State Saturday, June 29th , 2030 The season is finished for Ramón Santiago of the Arkansas State Red Wolves. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Red Wolves reliever suffered a fractured elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns. Team doctors said it would take at least 8-9 months to heal. For the year Santiago has collected no saves in 7 relief appearances. He has also notched 4 strikeouts and 9 walks in 11.1 innings while registering a 8.74 ERA and a 0-2 won-lost record. |
