Season-Ending Injury for Juan Esparza Sunday, July 25th , 2032 Juan Esparza will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Air Force reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Esparza was injured while throwing a pitch in the Falcons-Cardinal clash at Falcon Baseball Field recently. Doctors said he has a bone spur in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 4 months. Esparza has taken the hill for 25 relief appearances this season, nailing down 2 saves while notching a 2-2 record with a 5.40 ERA. The Air Force reliever has limited opposing batters to a .230 batting average. |
