He hammered the St. John's Red Storm for 5 hits and drove Connecticut to a 8-4 win over St. John's at J. O. Christian Field. Earnest Sanderson hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
