Great Danes Shaffer Lost for Year Monday, June 17th , 2030 Doctors in Albany said Joe Shaffer might not play anymore this year. The Great Danes reliever suffered a ruptured disc during a game against the North Carolina State Wolfpack and will be out for at least 6 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. This season Shaffer is 2-and-0 with 1 save and a 6.21 ERA. He has given up 37 hits in 29 innings with 17 strikeouts. |
