York on Fire, 5-for-6 Against Binghamton

UMBC first baseman Mark York had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Binghamton Bearcats at Varsity Field as the Retrievers picked up a 18-3 victory.
"He was patient up there today," UMBC skipper Jimmy Webb told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. York has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
Mark York singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 7th, hit a two-run double in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
So far this season York has hit .403 with 1 home run, 8 RBIs and scored 11 times.
