Big Day with Bat: Bexiga 5-for-6 Sunday, July 11th , 2032 It was a sensational day at the plate for Rodrige Bexiga as he led the charge to a 11-6 win over the Musketeers. The Connecticut second baseman was pure misery for the Xavier pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Bexiga put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Mike Lieberthal, manager for the Musketeers, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Rodrige Bexiga hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Miguel Espinoza in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
