Wallace 5-for-6 for Redhawks Wednesday, July 7th , 2032 Redhawks left fielder Jack Wallace had his way with Sam Houston State pitching today at Don Sanders Stadium and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Bearkats ruined his great day by toppling the Redhawks, 11-10. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Sam Houston State credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Wallace did today," Bearkats skipper Kelly Wunsch said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Jack Wallace singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Michael Tate in the 5th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 9th, walked in the 12th and flied out in the 13th.
