5-Hit Blitz by Rodríguez Tuesday, July 6th , 2032 Georgetown third baseman Ramón Rodríguez had a big day at Oranges Ballpark today against the Binghamton Bearcats. The 17-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Hoyas to a 11-5 triumph over Binghamton. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Rodríguez said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Ramón Rodríguez hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Vincente Velásquez in the 8th.
