Melvin Cheese Injured, Out for Season Tuesday, July 6th , 2032 Melvin Cheese has to call it a season. The Oklahoma State Cowboys starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Long Beach State 49ers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Cheese was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as shoulder inflammation and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months. Currently Cheese has a record of 4-3 with 29 strikeouts and 17 walks in 56.2 innings and a 3.97 ERA. |
