Loudermilk Laces 3 HR Against Nicholls State Thursday, July 1st , 2032 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Waves-Colonels game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Pepperdine right fielder Jeff Loudermilk thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Pepperdine to a 15-8 win over Nicholls State. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Loudermilk said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Loudermilk was 3-for-5 on the day with 5 RBI. Jeff Loudermilk struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ángel Bolado in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Héctor Palácios in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Aurelio Marrero in the 8th. Loudermilk is presently hitting at a .329 pace with 33 home runs, 67 RBIs and has scored 58 times. |
