Hoyas Tucker Lost for Year
Tuesday, June 29th , 2032
The doctors have spoken and Leon Tucker of the Georgetown Hoyas didn't like what he heard. The 18-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Tucker sustained his season-ending injury during the UAB Blazers game yesterday at Jerry D. Young Memorial Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Georgetown medical staff reported Tucker had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7 months.

This season Tucker has a 1-4 record with a 3.86 ERA.
