Spence Gone for Season in Pepperdine Wednesday, June 23rd , 2032 A blow for Joe Spence today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 6 months with shoulder inflammation. Spence suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Pepperdine Waves are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Spence's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.
