Week's Premier Player: Alabama's Robertson Monday, June 21st , 2032 Alabama Crimson Tide catcher Glenn Robertson had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Eastern Conference named him Player of the Week. Robertson banged out 10 hits in 17 at-bats on the way to a .588 batting average. He also racked up 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 4 runs scored. For the year Robertson has hit at a .328 clip with 44 RBIs, 13 home runs and 31 runs scored. |
