Curtis's Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games Sunday, June 6th , 2032 Marc Curtis of the Villanova Wildcats tagged 2 hits in today's 7-4 loss to the Albany Great Danes at Varsity Field to run his hitting streak to 25 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 25-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Marc Curtis hit an RBI double in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Walt Pritchard in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. Curtis is batting at a .376 pace this season, picking up 62 hits in 165 at-bats with 14 home runs, 51 RBIs and 40 runs scored. |
