Purple Aces Martínez May's #1 Pitcher Tuesday, June 1st , 2032 The Western Conference announced the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award. It went to relief specialist Juan Martínez of Evansville for his outstanding work on the mound. The Evansville reliever had 9 saves, pitched 12.1 innings, struck out 14 and walked 1 on the way to a 3-0 mark and a 1.46 ERA. So far this season Martínez has 12 saves in 17 relief appearances with a 3-0 mark and 1.10 ERA. Opposing teams are hitting .213 against him. |
