Curtis Hits in 20 Straight Games Monday, May 31st , 2032 Nobody has been able to shut down Villanova Wildcats third baseman Marc Curtis in recent days. The Louisiana Monroe Warhawks fared no better than the rest. Today at Villanova Ballpark at Plymouth, Curtis picked up 3 hits in 5 at-bats en route to a 14-2 Wildcats victory. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. Marc Curtis singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Gervasio Bonfim in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. So far this year in 41 games Curtis is hitting .352 with 12 home runs, 43 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
