Kim Goes 5-for-7 Against Clemson Tuesday, April 30th , 2030 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-7 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Hyun-ook Kim, it came around today. The 20-year-old shortstop scattered hits all over Doug Kingsmore Stadium to pace the Binghamton Bearcats to a 18-7 victory over the Clemson Tigers. Clemson skipper Paul Rigdon told reporters in the press room that "Kim deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Kim hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Hyun-ook Kim doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
