Verkade Goes 5-for-5 Against UC Riverside Saturday, April 24th , 2032 The Texas A&M Aggies tripped up the UC Riverside Highlanders 12-0 today. The Aggies were led by Stan Verkade, their 21-year-old third baseman. Verkade made life miserable for UC Riverside pitchers all day, tagging them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Stan Verkade hit a solo-shot off Willie Taylor in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
