Bad News for Stony Brook, Bower Injured Monday, April 19th , 2032 Watching Millard Bower getting helped off the field today at Joe Nathan Field, fans of the Stony Brook Seawolves feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the reliever will miss 4 months with bone chips in his elbow. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Bower suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the Retrievers. |
