EL Announces Player of the Week Monday, August 29th , 2005 The Greenville Braves received word today that second baseman Guilder Rodriguez was selected Eastern League Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Rodriguez took full advantage of all 20 plate appearances last week as he hit .500 with 9 hits, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season, Rodriguez has hit 22 home runs and posted a .262 batting average. |
