Nittany Lions End Albert's Streak Monday, September 6th , 2027 Joe Albert's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 21 games today as the Albany Great Danes dropped their contest with the Penn State Nittany Lions 6-0 at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Albert failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-3. After the game Albert spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. In 101 games this season Albert has compiled a .341 batting average with 135 hits and 5 home runs. He has also scored 49 times and knocked in 54 runs. |
