Stony Brook Seawolves Win Top Spot in Eastern Conference America East Wednesday, September 17th , 2031 Let loose, Stony Brook fans, your team has won the Eastern Conference America East. The Stony Brook Seawolves have officially captured the crown, the 4th in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said closer Calvin Wood. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 84-57 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 1st College Baseball championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager Ben Horton. "This is what you play for." |
