Sánchez Is King of Swing: Goes Deep 3 Times Thursday, September 11th , 2031 Juan Sánchez was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 9-4 UC Irvine Anteaters triumph at Cicerone Field today. The 19-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Anteaters past the Sacramento State Hornets. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Sánchez told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The left fielder went 3-for-5, rung up 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Juan Sánchez flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Kenzo Ageda in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Kenzo Ageda in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Juan García in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This season Sánchez is batting at a .324 clip with 42 home runs and 114 RBIs. |
