Morgan Belts Bunch of Base Hits Thursday, September 11th , 2031 Jesse Morgan had an answer for everything the San Diego Toreros threw at him today at Fowler Park. The Nicholls State shortstop went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Colonels on top, 7-2. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Morgan said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Jesse Morgan singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
