Splittorff Goes Long 3 Times

Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Trojans-Demon Deacons game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Troy left fielder Jeff Splittorff thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Troy to a 11-10 win over Wake Forest.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Splittorff said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Splittorff was 3-for-4 on the day with 7 RBI.
Jeff Splittorff hit a two-run home run off Ray Guy in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Ray Guy in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Luo-han Lian in the 9th.
This year Splittorff is batting .326 with 115 hits, 23 home runs, 76 RBIs, 40 walks, .397 OBP and has scored 75 runs.
