Christian on Fire: 5-for-5 for Seattle
Wednesday, September 10th , 2031
There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day.

Hal Christian is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Pepperdine Waves at Bannerwood Park today. The monster effort from the 18-year-old second baseman helped the Seattle Redhawks take the win, 15-8.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Waves manager Jim Mitchell. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."

Hal Christian hit a solo-shot off Marco Kenselaar in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Marco Kenselaar in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Dean Powell in the 8th.

In the current season, Christian has put up a .319 batting average with 137 hits, 14 home runs, 48 runs batted in and scored 69 runs.
