Tigers End Vázquez's Streak Wednesday, September 10th , 2031 Julián Vázquez of the Georgetown Hoyas came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 4 at-bats for the first time in 20 games. Making matters even worse for the left fielder, Georgetown dropped the game to the Memphis Tigers 10-7. "It was not a good day today," Vázquez told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." So far this season Vázquez is batting .269 with 15 home runs, 69 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has 124 hits in 461 at-bats, 27 walks and a .310 OBP. Vázquez has played in 133 games. |
