García's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Wednesday, August 29th , 2029 Gerardo García of the Seton Hall Pirates tagged 1 hit in today's 3-1 loss to the Tennessee Volunteers at Lindsey Nelson Stadium to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Gerardo García singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. García is currently batting .360 with 11 home runs and 74 RBIs. |
