Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2031 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the College World Series and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Tigers starting pitcher Mike Caldwell. This is the club's 8th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2023. In total, the Tigers have missed the playoffs 21 times in their 28-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Tigers have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
