5-for-5 Game for de Bruin Saturday, September 6th , 2031 Baltwin de Bruin exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Larry H. Miller Field. The Indiana State left fielder had a field day in the 8-2 triumph over the BYU Cougars, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." de Bruin must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Baltwin de Bruin doubled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Alberto Rocha in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Wesley de Meza in the 9th.
