Pierson Holds Sacramento State Scoreless Saturday, September 6th , 2031 It was a dismal game for the Sacramento State Hornets with Chad Pierson on the hill. The Long Beach State 49ers starter was in top form and made it a long day for Sacramento State with a 5-0 shutout. He surrendered a total of 2 hits and piled up 5 strikeouts to pick up the win in a rout. "No offense to the Hornets but that was a cakewalk today," Pierson said to BNN reporters following the win.
