Tennessee Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, September 2nd , 2031 Only the most die-hard fans thought the Tennessee Volunteers still had any chance at making the playoffs this season, but now even those hopes are dashed. The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. The Volunteers have missed the playoffs 26 times in their 28 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2027. In the last 10 seasons, the Volunteers have only made the playoffs once. |
