Rob Phillips Injured, Out for Season Monday, September 1st , 2031 The season is ending on a bad note for Rob Phillips, starting pitcher for the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Phillips was hurt against the Auburn Tigers while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn rotator cuff and will be out for at least 4-5 months. In 22 starts this season, Phillips has picked up 7 wins while suffering 6 losses. He has pitched 112.1 innings, allowed 134 hits, struck out 60 and posted a 4.09 ERA. |
